How hard will it be to travel alone from the USA to the Czech Republic?

I'll be flying from Atlanta to Prague, with most likely a layover in London. Obviously Atlanta and London won't be too difficult because everyone speaks English, but I'm wondering how it'll be once I land in Prague. I'll need to get from the airport to the hotel I'm staying at. I'm meeting people I know there, who speak English, but I'm not sure whether or not they'll meet me at the airport or I'll just be meeting them at the hotel. How can I prepare for this?
