How to thaw homemade broth?

So, I'm thinking about making my own veggie broth at home. I'm planning on keeping the broth in freezer bags (in the freezer, duh) and I'm wondering how to thaw it. Can you just put it in the microwave until it's liquid? Are there more choices?
