Is this appropriate or not?

remember laci peterson? well i just finished reading For Laci, the book written by her mother about what happened. Well I found a way to contact one of Laci's friends. I want to just tell her how I pray for Laci's family everyday. Would it be ok to send her a message saying that or should I just leave it alone? The last thing I want to do is bring up a painful subject, but I really do [ray for her family still.
