What Is a Taggie Blanket?

My friend's baby absolutely loves her Taggie. We got it at a yard sale, but there is a website for Taggies online. It is a blanket with tags sewn around the sides. Apparently someone got the idea to invent them after watching their child's fascination with the tag on her stuffed animal.
