Which do you believe is true, creationism or evolution?

This is a serious question for serious minded persons of all religious persuasions. I am particularly interested in receiving responses from Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Catholic and Protestant Christians, Jews, and any other religions as well. I intend to leave this question posted for a couple of days so I can get as many responses as possible. This is something I have wondered about for almost 50 years, that is how other religious people view this issue.
