Will this new movie about Nixon help to focus our understanding of the abuses of executive power by George W.?

Probably not. First of all, Nixon's abuses of power were for personal political gain while Bush had been trying to protect the American people supposedly. Also, there is hard evidence of Nixon's malfeasance whereas Bush's is only alleged. Bush isn't nearly as paranoid as Nixon was.
