Epson status monitor missing...?

My C90 Epson status monitor is missing. i've tried the File-->Print-->Preferences-->Maintenance… but it can't be clicked. Everytime i print, the status monitor just won't appear. i've tried installing, reinstalling, and even the sys restore, but it still won't show up. Anybody who's familiar with this problem....? I kinda need some help...
