Virgin mobile just told me i added $90.00 to my account!?!?

I paid my bill on their website and you do this by adding it to your account then activating it on your phone... it said on the screen previous to the "thank you" screen that i was topping up $27.15 or something including tax but on the thank you screen it said $90.00!!! i only got the original 25 on my phone though... should i chalk it up to a simple grammatical mistake considering it said the servers were busy, or start begging my mom to believe it wasnt on purpose?
