What's the best way to stop smoking?

I've been smoking for 13 years now and really want to stop but have no willpower at all. I got Champix from the doctor but have read so many bad things abut them i have not taken them. I used the patches for a few days but came out in big red marks where they had been. I really want to stop but just don't know what to do. Can anyone help??
