Why do skittles in the UK not have gelatin but in the US they do ?

Are you sure? Because gelatin allows the ingredients to stick together and it also gives some ingredients a slight jelly/gooey formation. Also some companies just don't list it on the ingredients contents of fear that people like me wont buy it. I don't fall for it. I wont by bi-pork products that contain gelatin unless it is kosher gel. Star burst, Noxzema, Wonder bread products, and the list goes on.
